Greetings from
St. Mary Roman Catholic Church,
in the LOVE of the Lord!

An invitation:
Are you looking for a Roman Catholic parish that is:

• Faithful to and thankful for authentic Church teaching;
• Respectful of her time tested, deeply sacred rites;
• Devoted to the Eucharist and Mary;
• Committed to catechesis and evangelism in full Gospel Truth;
• Reverent and aware of beauty in both sacred liturgy and music;
• Striving in joyful self-donation, letting "Thy Will Be Done"

Join us in the sacred liturgy—Join our household in Christ.

Interested? (or perhaps just curious?)

The people of St. Mary invite you to stop by on Wednesday, August 6 from 7-9 pm, downstairs at the church, 210 W. Main St., for an informal and informational gathering.

Glimpse some of those very basic elements of what the Catholic Church is all about.

There will be an opportunity to visit the very beautiful interior of the church and hear an explanation of why Catholic churches look and feel so distinct from the churches of other religious traditions. There will be an overview of what the Catholic Church teaches. And a chance to ask questions. You are most welcome. “No strings attached!”...

In this homily I would to spend my time reflecting with you on the fatherhood of God…

Part 3—Fortieth Anniv: "Humanae Vitae Prophecies"

(Part 3 by Rev. Thomas J. Eteneuer)

 Pope Paul VI has been called a prophet for his intuitions expressed in the 1968 encyclical, Humanae Vitae, about what would happen to society if contraception ever became widely used. But a “prophecy” is much more than just a prediction: it is really a view of reality and an assessment of what happens when the right order of things is snubbed…
